Since the beginning of the year we have been collaborating with the University of Trento, supporting initiatives aimed at bringing the world of education increasingly closer to the needs of the business world.

In particular DISI — Department of Engineering and Information Science — offered us the opportunity to collaborate in organizing and supporting, as mentors and judges, a challenge related to the Business Organization and Management course. The students had the objective of analyzing business processes and identifying key capabilities for these processes, thus putting into practice the teachings of the course.

On May 30, prizes were awarded to the winning teams of the challenge, which were evaluated according to the following requirements:

• understanding the concept of capabilities and having a method that would push them beyond the ​“by products” view
  
• good understanding of the company structure they analyzed
• having proposed the correct software products mix
• quality of their presentation

All student teams learned and applied method and analytical skills that, combined with their creativity, enabled them to develop strategic recommendations for digitizing key business processes such as purchasing, marketing, operations and innovation.

School of Innovation

We’ve been also involved in the StartLab demo of the School of Innovation at the University of Trento, where our President and Partner Daniele De Cia participated as a speaker and member of the jury of the projects presented by the students.
